Kul Piksel Yayin
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Kul Piksel Yayin ("the app") is a private Windows desktop application used only by the creator of the Kül Piksel science channel to schedule and publish the channel's own finished short videos to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. The app is not offered to the public.
What data the app accesses
When the channel owner connects a TikTok account, the app uses TikTok Login Kit and the Content Posting API with these scopes:
user.info.basic: to show which TikTok account is connected (display name and avatar).video.publish: to post the owner's own videos, with the caption and privacy setting chosen in the app.
The app does not read followers, messages, comments, analytics or any other user's data. YouTube and Instagram connections work the same way through Google's and Meta's official APIs.
How data is stored
- Access and refresh tokens are stored only on the owner's own computer, encrypted with Windows DPAPI.
- Videos, captions and schedules stay in a local database on the same computer.
- The app has no server. No data is sent to the developer or to any third party. Data goes only to the official platform APIs when a video is published.
Data retention and deletion
- Clicking Disconnect in the app deletes the stored tokens for that platform immediately.
- TikTok access can also be revoked at any time in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services.
- Uninstalling the app and deleting its data folder removes all local data.
Children
The app is not directed at children and is used by a single adult account owner.
